Anticipated to be all my wedding gifts from here on out!

Thanks to Pinterest I snagged this spectacular idea for a wedding gift.  So I grabbed my cricut, my gypsy, some vinyl and an old frame from my local thrift store. When I completed the image on my gypsy I flipped it for the cut so that I could adhere it to the inner portion of the glass instead of the outside part. This is what came out of the deal:
I was so pleased with the outcome of this that I will defiantly make additional ones in the future....and maybe one for our home too (I mean, we deserve one right?).

Srap Weekend!

So every year some of my scrap friends go to a hotel, lock ourselves in with just the girls, our pj's, lots of snacks, some adhesive and the pool.  We are fortunate to have a great group of ladies, just wanted to share some of my creations with you from what was completed that weekend:

Christmas Goodies!

Well Christmas has come and gone and now I can post some of the goodies I had worked on.  I think I have found my true love....vinyl on the cricut (and on everything else!)  It is so versatile and easy to work with, I wish more people who use the cricut would give it a try.  Well here are a few things that I did recently :)

And this one was a bank.....

Like I said, so easy and the kiddies love getting something with their name on it!  I go through a lot of pink!
Hope you all had a spectacular holiday.  xoxo

Easy Peasy Upcycled project

The fastes and easiest project ever!  Take an old cassette case, decorate the inside that is flat and Volia! Instant business card holder!

Book Worm

So I have been wanting to do this project for a while, you have probably all seen them - the purses made out of books. I have looked them over, disected them and admired but never purchased.  It was another one of those projects that I thought...."I can make that."

Well I needed a holder for my bible so I went to the local thrift store to find the perfect book to tear apart.  It only cost me $1 to get my project started.  De-binding the book was realitively easy; but be sure not to pierce through the back when using your exacto knife.   I also used pretty scrap paper on the side covered with clear vinyl.  My crop-a-dile was the special tool that pulled this all together with some ribbon and the saying 'faith' in vinyl.

I was very excited with the end result....Hope you enjoy too =)

Well it's here....Mother's day!  Sending out a BIG Thank You to my Momma!  (and a card too!)

Summer Lovin'.....I AM READY!!

I am such a summer girl, being from Michigan it is the only time that I am able to really get outside and enjoy nature.  That being said I am also a tree hugger - the popularity of the reusable drink glasses has caught my attention.  Problem was none of them were just flashy enough for me.  So.....I decided to make my own.  Just a container, your cricut and some vinyl and Volia!  Personalzed drink cup!   I did two:
One for me (which was my fancy one) :

And one for my boyfriend who wanted his (ahem...) toned down:
Easy Peasy!  Have fun in the Sun!
