Make an Old Photo a Keepsake

Well after I started yesterday I keep finding things that I had completed but forgot to post.  I made a keepsake for my mom for Christmas- it was easy and it turned out really good!  Pretty easy to complete too....
Start with a simple painting canvas.  Mod Podge some scrapbook paper, allow to dry.  Place Photo ( or a paper copy works well too) Mod Podge again.  Place any wording (I cut my words out on my cricut in coordinating colors).....and you guessed it....Mod Podge one last time.  Simple and Beautiful - This is me and my Momma and yes, she cried.

Nametags for a special bunch of kiddies!

I work for a Hospice in Michigan.  We frequently have grief groups that focus on different populations - when I heard on grief support manager was going to do a group for kids only I decided to spice things up a bit...this was the result:

V-Day is coming!

Valentine's day is right around the corner and this is the only place my boyfriend won't be lurking so I am free to share the gifts I have made for him and my mom.  Shhhhh! don't tell anyone!

The first thing I made started with a deck of cards, Once finished it had 52 reasons why I love him so...one for each card....it was fun!

The next project was so easy and completed with a design on my Gypsy, cut with my Cricut and some simple white vinyl.

Happy Crafting!!!!
